About Dr Dawn Flynn

Dawn Flynn, ND, EAMP has been serving individuals for more than 20 years, using her medical training, personal experiences and broad treatment modalities to assist people in navigating their health and healing.  Her main orientation is emphasizing body awareness, engaging the innate healing capacity of the body, and supporting the interconnectedness of the physical, mental and emotional aspects for long-lasting health and transformation on all levels.

Through her practice as a naturopathic physician and acupuncturist, she is continually learning from her patients as they demonstrate their resilience and unique gifts while moving through health challenges.  Whether she is helping a woman during the transition of menopause or lessening the pain of an athlete’s shoulder or supporting a person as he lets go of his long-time dependency on pain medications, Dawn is honored to be invited into each person’s process of healing and recovery.

Dawn teaches and writes regularly on empowering approaches for transforming depression, anxiety, and addictions.  To learn more about her 21-day online program for supporting women through sobriety, visit www.SoberDoctorDawn.com.  Read current articles on a holistic wholebody approach to addiction and mental health on her Substack page.

Dawn earned her Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine and Bachelor’s degree in Natural Health Sciences from Bastyr University in Kenmore, WA, and her Masters of Science Degree in Acupuncture from Tri State College of Acupuncture in New York, NY. She is a certified Focusing teacher and has received additional training in the treatment of trauma, chronic pain, addictions, and women’s health.

Dawn is licensed in Washington state as a Naturopathic physician and East Asian Medical Practitioner. She is a member of the Naturopathic Medicine Institute and enjoys her work with the  Seattle Focusing Institute.
